Life at an IIM
It depends on the policy of the authority vetting your CV - if you wish to sit for college placements, you will have to check with your seniors on how your placement cell verifies proofs? My college's placecom did not verify CV points, so I could have written about the courses without paying for the certificate.
But, when it comes to B-school Placecoms, they verify all your points against proofs - there you may need a certificate. Having said that, very few people write about MOOCs in their CV - simply because they are are not that strong CV points. They help in increasing knowledge, though. So, personally, I'd recommend you to learn from courses than buying the certificate just to add a CV point - it's not worth it.

2. Should i pursue this course as i am interested in finance ?
3. Does live projects help for admission in top b-schools and if it helps where would i get the live projects?
@roshankirange You can surely pursue the course if you're into finance. It'd certainly help you learn more. Live projects can certainly help, they're another way of showing you can add value. You generally find them through connections in firms - referrals, LinkedIn posts or through your professors in college.
